25th August – Office colleagues held a belated celebration for me. We went to my favorite Thai restaurant in Cyberjaya. I take charged for ordering.. I ordered all my favorite dishes.. and surprised me with a big chocolate cake.. the treat was overwhelming and certainly unexpected.
28th August – LunChais decided to buy me a birthday dinner. We have discussed and proposed many places, and final choice is SEAFOOD! Alvin and Wosip recommended to makan at Damansara Village Steamboat Restaurant. We only reached there by 8.30 night, due to MingKai’s Sunnyline has been stolen. Poor thing. The restaurant seems like a marine museum, it has various “BIG” seafood creatures displaying in different tanks. Again, me took charged ordering, and Alvin recommended Marmite & Salted Egg crab-meats. VERY JENG!! Will be back there very soon.. August 22 DetectivesI am a HUGE fan of detective stories..especially Japanese detective stories.. I started my very first detective addiction with Conan Detective since secondary school age. As I can recalled, it was started with the weekly comic magazine, and slowly became “comic worm” and frequent kaki in the comic shop. Beside Conan, me and sister also ran into Kindaichi series, comics, TV series, movies. Of coz, the recent hot TV series – Detective Galileo is also one of my favorite collections. Definitely I will be going after the latest Japanese detective series - 33Tantei. It seems like another good stuff from Japan!!

I already have a new laptop (as of a couple of weeks ago) so I'd say that presents are pretty much taken care of! I also had my very first birthday celebration last Saturday. It was my first SURPRISE BDAY PARTY ever. Thanks guys!
 August 17 GoodBye and WelcomeOn the 7th August on 2008, I made another career switch in my life. No doubt, I’ve been very rabbit (job hopping) for the past 2 years. shifted 5 companies in 2 years.. I think I’ve made some records here. My last employment was with Kenexa, and being outsourced to an aviation company as a HR Recruiter, Kenexa is a U.S. based HR consulting firm with own integrated software. I consider it was my honeymoon career. The reason is because the job is only required me starts at 10:00am (meeting) and I leave the office sharp at 06:00pm with no delay, the workload is reasonable, and tension-free, boss is ANG-MO and humorous, pay is fantastic (4 times bonuses per year with 13th month contractual bonus), office is near and no jam, office PC is open for MSN, Tube-ing, Neopets, Friendster, Mp3 downloading and even Porno (of coz I don't do porn-surf during office). but WHY leave? For experience growth and personal interest, I decided to move on for good.
On my last day servicing, boss sent out an email at 11:00am, "Just to remind you all to gather in Putrajaya ALAMANDA's Sushi King at 12:30pm." The office colleagues were very happi for eating-out again, especially Sushissss.. PLUS... without paying from own pocket. = ) Thanks to me. End of the day, farewell to all the colleagues and it officially ended another journey of mine.
For the past 13months, I used to sleep till 09:00am, and only stepped out at 9:30am. 11th August, the 1st working day in new company, have to work up at 8:25am. Stepped into new office at 9:00am punctually. Team colleague brought me around the building, introduced me to all the managers. Warm welcomes from everyone.
New company banned all the leisure websites and instant messengers. SIENNNNNNNN...
August 06 Sunshine Day - 1st Aug1st August, I called it Sunshine Day. Why sunshine? It’s bcoz sunshine means cheerfulness to me and Dell has named their yellow color laptop as 'Sunshine Yellow'
I had a plan to purchase a new laptop for myself, understood from Rion that the PC fair just around the corner... so I decided to wait extra 25days to get a better deal. I personally have not been to PC fair in my life, many of my friends have told me that traffic and getting a parking lot in KLCC area would be very bad during the fair period. To prevent all these craps, I woke up at 9:30 and reached KLCC by 10:30. I waited like an idiot at the basement of the convention center until it opened.
11 sharp the entrance opened, I followed the crowd went in to the hall.. it’s big til I lost my way.. I spent half an hour finding and get to my destination à Dell Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd booth. Talked to the sales agent quickly, and he quickly get my order done, and I quickly pay the bill (Number 1 customer of the day for Dell!) and quickly leave the place. Jalan Ampang has already fully congested and the cars are queuing outside KLCC when I was leaving...
Thanks to Rion again, I got extra freebies from the event, I received extra 1 Bluetooth mouse, 1 sling bag and a 4GB pen drive from Dell, 1 checker-plate and 1 calcu-ruler from the PIKOM event organizer. Weeeeeeee..
